Only three Substories open up in Chapter 7 of Like a Dragon: Ishin with some of these being gated behind the time of day which means you’ll have to progress the story within the chapter to get the time to change. Although there are few substories, they make up for it with the rewards where you can expect to get an Eye of the Dragon, a Nishikigoi Amulet, and the rare crafting material, Precise Machinery.

Where to Find All Substories in Chapter 7¶

Although there are only three substories, you’ll still need to do plenty of running around as you’ll find one in Fushimi, one in Mukurogai, and finally, one in Rakugai.

All Chapter 7 Substories in Fushimi¶

These are all the Substories you will find in Fushimi, during Chapter 7. Note, you’ll need to approach the docks during the day to get the “Invasion of the Black Ships?” substory.

All Chapter 7 Substories in Rakugai¶

These are all the Substories you will find in Rakugai, during Chapter 7. This area is located in between Fushimi and Rakunai. You’ll need to progress the story until Inoue asks you to investigate someone familiar. This substory starts near the Scarecrow Chateau in Rakugai, but it’ll end up in Mibu.

All Chapter 7 Substories in Mukugorai¶

These are all the Substories you will find in Mukugorai, during Chapter 7. This substory has to be accepted during the day, but it can’t be completed until night. During this chapter, you won’t be able to change the time of day, and you’ll need to progress the story until you have to go to Gion.
