151. Black Squirrel

These forest-dwelling rodents can be found throughout West Elizabeth, New Hanover, Ambarino and Lemoyne. They seem particularly abundant in the Black Bone Forest region of West Elizabeth.

154. Eastern Wild Turkey

These dull birds can be found in many places in West Elizabeth, New Hanover and Lemoyne. You’ll likely find them near Downes Ranch, Emerald Ranch, Black Bone Forest and many other popular hunting spots. Possibly the most common land-dwelling (but not flightless) bird in the game.

156. Alligator Snapping Turtle

A swamp-dwelling reptile, they can be found throughout western and southwestern Lemoyne. Search for them in the Bluewater Marsh area and in the swamps southwest of Saint Denis (Crawdad Willies area).

159. Gray Wolf

A common predator, you can find packs of these dangerous beasts throughout Ambarino, West Elizabeth and the forested/mountainous regions of eastern New Hanover. West Elizabeth seems to be their primary territory, however, where they can be found throughout.

161. Red-Bellied Woodpecker

One of this game’s many tweeters - any of an assortment of small birds that are interchangeable for gameplay purposes. They’re incredibly flighty (pun intended) so you’ll likely need to use binoculars to study them, and perhaps just to spot them. As a general rule, when you’re hunting and you see birds flying overhead, take aim at them and try to shoot some down.

Can be found along the Dakota River and along the coast near the Van Horn Trading Post.

Another good spot to hunt for small birds like this is Fort Brennand, which is located north of the Bluewater Marsh, in a bend on the Kamassa River. Enter the interior of the fort, be patient, and look to the skies, as you can find a variety of birds flying around overhead.
