31. Double-Crested Cormorant¶

An aquaphilic bird that can be found near most major sources of water, including the Dakota River, the Kamassa River and Bluewater Marsh. They seem particularly common along the coast of Flat Head Lake and along the coast of the Lannahechee River near the Van Horn Trading Post.

32. Neotropic Cormorant¶

Can be found on the shores of Flat Iron Lake and the Lannahechee River… basically a long stretch of coastline from near Riggs Station in West Elizabeth to Saint Denis in Lemoyne.

33. Florida Cracker Cow¶

Usually found on ranches or in other civilized areas. One can usually be found penned up on the Emerald Ranch grounds.

34. California Valley Coyote¶

A lower-tier predator, they can be found throughout New Hanover and West Elizabeth, especially in the forests along the Kamassa River and in The Heartlands area (New Hanover) and near the Black Bone Forest area (West Elizabeth).

35. Cuban Land Crab¶

Along the shore near the Van Horn Trading Post.

36. Red Swamp Crayfish¶

Found in the marshy areas of Lemoyne, these crustaceans can be found hiding in crayfish holes. They can be somewhat hard to spot unless you’re wandering around staring at the ground, but they should glow yellow when viewed with Eagle Sight (L3 + R3).

37. Whooping Crane¶

New Hanover region, these aquaphilic birds can be found in the Bluewater Marsh area, and along the coast near the Van Horn Trading Post.

38. Sandhill Crane¶

New Hanover region, these aquaphilic birds can be found in the Bluewater Marsh area, and along the coast near the Van Horn Trading Post.

39. American Crow¶

A common scavenger, ubiquitous throughout the game, albeit less common than the Western Raven. A good place to hunt them is in The Heartlands, but they’re possibly more common along the coast near the Van Horn Trading Post (eastern end of the New Hanover region) and in the Bluewater Marsh area. In either case, you can find them flying overhead, but they’re also drawn to corpses. Just shoot every bit you spot flying around and check the corpses of previous kills for scavengers and you should find this bird eventually.

40. American Fox Hound¶

Usually found on ranches or in other civilized areas. One can usually be found being a good boy at the Appleseed Timber Co area in West Elizabeth (just northeast of Strawberry).

41. Australian Shepherd¶

Usually found on ranches or in other civilized areas. One can usually be being a good boy at the Emerald Ranch grounds.

42. Bloodhound¶

Usually found on ranches or in other civilized areas. One can usually be being a good boy at the Emerald Ranch grounds.

43. Bluetick Coonhound¶

Commonly found in settlements and ranches, you can likely find one of these hounds in Valentine.

44. Border Collie¶

Commonly found in settlements and ranches, you can likely find one of these hounds near Larned Sod, at the northeastern end of The Heartlands.

45. Catahoula Cur¶

Commonly found in settlements and ranches, you can likely find one of these hounds in Lagras.
