Common herbivores, albeit perhaps less common than Whitetail Deer. They can be found in New Hanover and West Elizabeth, more specifically around the Dakota River and The Heartlands. Their range overlaps with Whitetail Deer, and bucks and doe can be found interchangeably.

These birds can usually be found on the ground, making them somewhat harder to spot than many flying birds. You’ll find them throughout New Hanover and West Elizabeth; in former case, they can be found in The Heartlands and between the Kamassa River and Emerald Station, while in the latter case they seem somewhat common southeast of Riggs Station.
113. Sierra Nevada Bighorn Ram¶
These mountain-dwelling herbivores can be found in New Hanover and West Elizabeth. In New Hanover, look for them north of Annesburg, in the mountainous areas around Roanoke Valley. In West Elizabeth, they’re fairly common throughout Big Valley, more specifically on Mount Shann. Sheep and rams are found mixed together.

While possessing similar mannerisms as the Sierra Nevada Bighorns, the Rocky Mountain Bighorns are usually found to the north, dwelling in the mountainous regions of Grizzlies West and Grizzlies East of Ambarino. Sheep and rams are found mixed together.

119. Black-Tailed Jackrabbit¶
This ever-present animal can be found throughout the various states. They can be found throughout any number of popular hunting spots, so you shouldn’t need to take any special effort to find them. While not an ideal way to hunt them, you can generally just ride your horse along roads and paths and if you spot one running, pick it off with a gun. You’ll need to kill one during the quest Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego.
120. North American Raccoon¶
A common critter that can be found throughout the states. Search for them in the forests of east New Hanover (between Emerald Station and the Kamassa River), in the Cumberland Forest area (northeast of Valentine), the marshes southwest of Saint Denis (Crawdad Willies area) and West Elizabeth region (Black Bone Forest area).
