There are several resources you can gather for cooking and crafting in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, but some of them can be difficult to find. You’ll be able to find Creeping Moss scattered around the Upper Plains, but they are hard to spot because the color allows them to blend into the environment, so if you are struggling to find Creeping Moss then continue reading for tips on how to find it!
Where to Find Creeping Moss in Avatar¶
Creeping Moss can only be found in the second region, known as the Upper Plains, so you’ll need to progress through the story until you have completed the 11th main mission, The Wandering Clan. You’ll now want to make your way over to the Shattered Forest biome, which is in The Stone Hold sub-region. You’ll need to be on the lookout for Petrified Trees which are commonly found within the Upper Plains. Once you’ve started finding Petrified Trees you’ll want to look inside and activate your Na’vi Sense to highlight any Creeping Moss which has attached itself to the log.
What is Creeping Moss Used for in Avatar?¶
These are required to craft a variety of better Torsos which is something you’ll want to do as you progress into the second half of the game, as enemies will start dealing a lot more damage so keeping your equipment upgraded will allow you to put up more of a fight. There are Fine, Superior, and Exquisite versions of Creeping Moss, but the better qualities aren’t easy to come by as certain requirements need to be met before they can show up.
How to Get Exquisite Creeping Moss in Avatar¶
If you use better qualities of certain resources when crafting new equipment, then you’ll have a much higher chance of getting the best stats possible. So, you’ll want to get your hands on Exquisite Creeping Moss which can be found on top of standing Petrified Trees. We’ve managed to come across them on top of the Petrified Trees near Wing Mountain in The Stone Hold. You can reach the top of the trees via your Ikran or by using the Lift Vines. When you go to harvest the Creeping Moss, you’ll want to push the analog stick up to keep it in pristine condition.
