Eywa’s Blessing is the seventh Main Quest in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and it’ll teach you the basics of hunting and crafting. Hunting is an important part of the Na’vi lifestyle as it’ll allow you to make useful dishes and craft better equipment.
Find Eetu The Aranahe Hunter¶
Before you set off on the next stage of your adventure, you’ll want to take some time cooking food with any ingredients you may have found and make sure your equipment is upgraded to the strongest available to you as you’ll be doing some hunting in this mission and you’ll want to be able to take a few hits without dying. Unfortunately, due to your circumstances, you’ve never learned to hunt so you’ll be tasked with tracking down Eetu to begin your lessons! He can be found by traveling southwest of the Aranahe Clan’s Hometree, then when you reach the search area, you’ll want to activate your Na’vi Sense and look around your surroundings until you come across the Hunter’s Rest Na’vi Camp. From here, you’ll find Eetu overlooking a Sturmbeest slightly to the west.
Hunt for Sturmbeest¶
Once you’ve finished speaking with Eetu you’ll need to track down and kill a Sturmbeest. They’re seemingly difficult to come across, but you can make it easier to find them by opening up your Hunter’s Guide and pinning them, then you’ll want to activate your Na’vi Sense by holding RB on Xbox or R1 on PlayStation and let the scent lead you to its location. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of tracking it down yourself, then you can find groups of them along The Threaded River which is located in the Silk Woods sub-region of the Kinglor Forest.
Sturmbeests have a lot of health which means you’ll need to make sure that your shot counts otherwise they’ll attempt to escape, so you’ll have to run around the forest trying to find them again. The best way to avoid this scenario is to remain crouched and slowly approach the Sturmbeest, then switch over to your Heavy Bow and aim for their weak spot which can be found on their neck. If you can’t find it, quickly activate your Na’vi Sense to highlight it. Additionally, you’ll want to avoid shooting at their head as it is heavily armored by a shell which means you won’t deal much damage.
Return to Nefika at Hometree¶
After you’ve successfully killed and looted a Sturmbeest you’ll want to return to the Aranahe Clan Hometree and speak with Nefika who can be found standing in The Hearth Room. Follow her over to the Maker’s Den and interact with the Crafting Bench. You’ll now want to select the Armguard and craft the Simple Wristband using the materials you’ve gathered from the Sturmbeest. Finally, you’ll want to head over to the Council Room and speak with Ka’nat, then make your way up to the top of the Hometree and speak with Etuwa in the Kinglor’s Nest to bring the quest to a close.
