There are many side quests to track down and complete in all three regions of the Western Frontier. The Sound of Night will have you put a stop to a weird sound that is affecting the citizens of the Hunter’s Rest Na’vi Camp. On this page, you’ll find the location of the mysterious sound along with tips on how to stop it.

How to Start The Sound of Night Side Quest¶
The Sound of Night Side Quest can be started by speaking with the Hunter at the Hunter’s Rest Na’vi Camp which is located to the southwest of the Aranhe Clan Hometree, find the Hunter and then you’ll need to speak with Ley’taw at the River’s Run Camp, this is located in the Shadow Wood sub-region. After a lengthy conversation, you’ll want to use the nearby campfire and rest until nightfall, then your slumber will be interrupted because of a strange sound. Here you’ll be tasked with tracking down its source and putting a stop to it.
Where to Find the Nocturnal Sound¶
You’re given two clues as to where the sound came from and that it’s near the River’s Embrace north of the Stepping Stone River. Head to the marker northeast of the Hunter’s Rest camp via your Ikran, then climb up onto the rock and you’ll find a bunch of RDA Equipment scattered on the floor. You’ll want to activate your Na’vi Sense and look for the tablet, then interact with it to put a stop to the annoying sounds. Finally, return to Ley’taw and the quest will come to a close and bag you some clan favor!
