Black Myth: Wukong is a relatively challenging Action RPG so having some strong equipment to start off your adventure will be extremely useful. If you purchased the deluxe edition, then you’ll have some armor waiting for you, but there’s some things you need to do before you can claim it. On this page, we’ll provide you with the necessary steps to obtaining the exclusive deluxe edition items.
How to Claim The Deluxe Edition Items¶
Once you’ve completed the prologue of the game you’ll find yourself in the Forest of Wolves area. If you follow the path ahead you’ll come across the first shrine in the game “Front Hills”. Interact with it and select the option “Trailblazer’s Gift” to claim your deluxe edition rewards which consist of the following: Bronzecloud Staff, Trailblazer Scarlet Gourd, Folk Opera Armor and the Wind Chimes Curio. These items aren’t overpowered, but they will make the early game bosses a bit easier while you’re learning the game’s mechanics.
Deluxe Edition Rewards¶
Below you’ll find out what each of the deluxe editions items offer:
Bronzecloud Staff Stats¶
The Bronzecloud Staff provides you with 36 Attack (6 more than the base weapon) and 2% Critical Hit Chance, but unfortunately this can’t be upgraded any further so it’ll become useless relatively quickly.
Wind Chime Curio¶
If you’re struggling with some of the encounters at the start of the game, then The Wind Chime Curio will be your best friend until you get better as it increases your movement speed.
Trailblazer Scarlet Gourd¶
The Trailblazer Scarlet Gourd is better than the base gourd as it fully it restores your health if its full, but you’ll want to switch back to the base one once you’re able to upgrade it via the Shen Monkey who’s found in chapter 2.
Folk Opera Armor Set Stats¶
The set consists of the Folk Opera Mask, Folk Opera Almsgiving Armor, Folk Opera Leather Bracers and Folk Opera Buskins. The entire set offers you a total of a total of 34 points towards your overall defense and the set bonus “Every Bit Counts” which moderately increases the Will (Money) gained from defeating an enemy which is extremely useful early on as it allows you to craft better pieces of equipment quickly.
