Black Myth: Wukong is an Action RPG but it has some similarities to a soulslike, such as hidden side quests. There are bells scattered around chapter 1 and interacting with them all will lead to a temple where you can claim some useful rewards. On this page, we’ll provide you with the necessary steps to finding all three bells.
Where to Find the Three Bells¶
Chapter 1 is fairly linear for the most part, but there’s some optional areas/fights which lead to bells that you can ring. Upon interacting with all three bells, you’ll be transported to a secret area called Ancient Guanyin Temple where you’ll need to defeat the boss Elder Jinchi. This will reward you with the Fire Mantle Vessel (which increases burn immunity when active) and you’ll be able to craft his armor set. If you’re having trouble tracking down some of the bells, then you can find all of their locations below!
Armor Piece | Stat |
---|---|
Bronze Monkey Mast | Defense - 16, Burn Resistance - 3 |
Bronze Brocade Battlerobe | Defense - 29 |
Bronze Armguard | Defense - 12, Burn Resistance - 4 |
Bronze Buskins | Defense - 17 |
Bell Location #1 - Defeat Guangzhi¶
The first bell is located behind the optional boss Guangzhi. You can find it by fast traveling to the Forest Shrine and then following the path around to the left.
Bell Location #2 - Defeat Guangmou¶
The second bell is located behind the mandatory boss Guangmou and you can reach this by fast traveling to the Snake Trail Shrine and heading up the stairs. Continue following the path around until you reach a large open area, then the boss can be found in a small opening on the opposite side.
Bell Location #3 - Defeat Whiteclad Noble¶
The third and final bell can be found after defeating the next mandatory boss Whiteclad Noble and you can reach this by starting at the Marsh of White Mist Shrine and then head down to the broken wooden bridge. Upon defeating this boss, avoid the cave and follow the path along to the left to find the bell. However, you’ll still be transported to the temple regardless of what bell you ring last.
