One of the highlights of any new, expansive game such as FFVII Rebirth is all of the goodies that could be coming with the various special editions. Considering how big of a release that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is, it’s no surprise that there are plenty of different ways to buy the game. This page will take a look at all the various Editions for FFVII Rebirth.
The Standard Edition includes a pre-order bonus along with the game.
FFVII Rebirth Special Edition and Pre-Order Bonuses¶
We’ll now briefly cover the key differences between each of the special editions of FFVII, including the Standard, Deluxe, Digital Deluxe, Collector’s, and Twin Pack editions.
Standard Edition¶
As should be expected, the Standard Edition for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is pretty basic. It is available in both digital and physical formats, and just includes the base game. If you pre-order the game, though, you will get access to a pre-order bonus, depending on whether it’s physical or digital. For physical owners, you will receive the Midgar Bangle accessory, while digital owners will receive the Moogle Trio Summoning Materia. These pre-order bonuses will extend to all other versions of the game.
Note that once the game is fully released, owners of the digital version will be able to purchase a Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade on the storefront. This will add all of the content from the Digital Deluxe Edition to your game, should you only opt for the Standard Edition. For physical owners, the game will come on two discs, one for installing data and the other for playing the game.
Deluxe Edition¶
Available only for the physical version, the Deluxe Edition adds some goodies that you don’t get with the Standard Edition. In addition to the full game, you will receive a mini soundtrack CD (in a jewel case), as well as a physical artbook. The Deluxe Edition also comes with a steelbook case, which will have both Cloud and Zack featured on it.

Digital Deluxe Edition¶
Briefly mentioned above, with the ability to purchase a Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade if you buy the Standard Edition, the Digital Deluxe Edition is basically just the base game with a bunch of digital goodies. There’s a Digital Artbook and Digital Mini-Soundtrack with this version of the game (might be the same contents as the Deluxe Edition artbook and soundtrack). The other items included in this edition are just in-game items, like the Orchid Bracelet, Reclaimant Choker accessory, and the Magic Pot Summoning Materia.
Collector’s Edition - FFVII Rebirth¶
Only available through the Square Enix Store, the Collector’s Edition isn’t going to be much different than the other editions. In fact, it is a combination of the Deluxe and Digital Deluxe Editions, but with one extra thing that makes it quite expensive. That thing is a statue of Sephiroth as its centerpiece, in the Static Arts collection.

Twin Pack - FFVII Remake and FFVII Rebirth¶
If you don’t happen to have FFVII Remake and are interested, then this digital-only version is for you. It contains both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth, in one package, for the same price as just purchasing Rebirth itself. Note that this deal only lasts until Rebirth is released, as the price will increase after the matter. There is also a Digital Deluxe version of this same package, with all of the content outlined above.
