Expedition Intel is one of the many world intel activities in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. These are large crystals which you can scan throughout the region and doing so will reveal an Excavation Intel along with the Classified Intel which is the toughest enemy within the region. On this page, we’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to tracking down all of the Expedition Intel for the 
Cosmo Canyon region.
Expedition Intel 1: Gulch Lifespring¶
The Gulch Lifespring is one of the easiest to track down and it can be found by heading northeast of Kamaria’s Ranch until you find a narrow path to the right of the Chocobo intel. Heading down this path will lead to the Lifespring itself.

Expedition Intel 2: Templeway Lifespring¶
The Templeway Lifespring can be found to the southeast of the Crimson Earth Tower. It can be reached by heading over to Gliding Range No. 31 -21 m and using this to glide over to the brick wall on the left. From here, head up the stairs and enter the Ancient Baths to find the Lifespring.

Expedition Intel 3: Dawnvale Lifespring¶
The Dawnvale Lifespring can be found to the southeast of the Dried Oasis Tower. It can be reached by using the wind current generator to the south of the tower and then gliding over to the wooden platform in the southeast. From here, head down the right path and you’ll find the Lifespring inside a small hole in the wall.

Expedition Intel 4: Blustercave Lifespring¶
The Blustercave Lifespring can be found to the southeast of the Ancient Capital Tower. It can be reached by starting at Gliding Range No. 6 - 71 m and then glide across the small gap and walk up the hill until you reach Gliding Range No. 9 - 55 m. Jump off the ramp and glide over to the platform to the southwest, then head up the stairs to reach Gliding Range No. 13 - 88 m. Use this to glide across to the opposite side and then use Gliding Range No. 14 - 90m to reach the cliff. Follow the path along and you’ll see an opening that leads to the Lifespring just before Gliding Range No. 15 - 94 m.

Expedition Intel 5: Shrouded Ruins Lifespring¶
The Shrouded Ruins Lifespring can be found directly above the Spiritwastes Tower which is located at the northernmost point of the map. You can reach this by using Gliding Range No. 26 - 67 m and Gliding Range No. 28 - 112 m to work your way up the cliff and then use Gliding Range No. 29 - 103 m to reach a platform that contains Gliding Range No. 29 - 103 m. Use this and glide all the way across to the area above the tower while using the current generators to keep your momentum, then you’ll find the Lifespring hiding behind an archway.
Expedition Intel 6: Plateau Ruins Lifespring¶
The Plateau Ruins Lifespring can be found in the Cosmo Range Ruins which can be easily reached from the Ancient Capital Tower. However, this tower can be difficult to reach, but you can make it a little easier by following the steps on our All Cosmo Canyon Activation Intel Locations page.
