There are a lot of minigames to be found in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, some of which are entirely new. G-Bike was one of the minigames available on the original game back in 1997 but the version we have in the Gold Saucer is based on the bike sequence at the end of Remake. On this page, we’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to starting the G-Bike Minigame and getting the top score of 30,000.
How to Unlock G-Bike in FF7¶
Once you’ve made it to Corel in Chapter 7 of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, you’ll want to progress through the main story until you reach North Corel and then you can take the Ropeway to the Gold Saucer. Once here, you’ll want to make your way over to the Wonderment Square to find the 3D Brawler, Queen’s Blood, and G-Bike Minigames. Make your way over to the G-Bike stand which is located in the center of the room to begin.
Best Way to Get Rank 3 in G-Bike¶
There are three rewards up for grabs in the G-Bike Minigame, but the most important reward is the Whistlewind Scarf.
G-Bike Minigame Rewards¶
Rank | Score | Reward |
---|---|---|
1 | 18,000 | Ether Onion x5, Gold Saucer Points x100 |
2 | 25,000 | Mythril Ore x3, Gold Saucer Points x150 |
3 | 30,000 | Whistlewind Scarf x1, Gold Saucer Points x200 |
The G-Bike Minigame will require you to earn a score of 18,00 in order to progress the main story, but if you’re going for the platinum trophy then you’ll need to get the top score here and in the expert version of the minigame that becomes available in Chapter 12. if you’re trying to get the highest score possible in G-Bike then you’ll want to avoid racing to the end of the course as quickly as possible and instead alter your speed to match your opponents, as this will make it easier to take more of them out by pressing (Left Strike) or (Right Strike) and bag 500 Points each.
Collect Point and Boost Panels¶
We recommend that you race at more of a controllable speed, so you can collect as many of the point panels (blue) as possible as this will massively increase your score and make reaching the 30,000 a lot more doable. You’ll also want to collect the boost panels (yellow) and use the nitrous boost by pressing to catch up to the large groups of enemies and then use the Spinning Slash by pressing to take them out for a large number of points. Additionally, hitting any of the enemies while the boost is activated will kill them.
