Corrin, or the Avatar, is very well-rounded in terms of stat growth. However it is very clear that s/he is biased more towards strength than magic even without factoring in Boon or Bane, making Dragonstone or tome/staff usage fairly difficult right from the outset.
Obviously as the main character, whether you like the growth stats or not you will have to use him/her. But thankfully his/her growth states are solid all around, especially in the health department, where it matters the most.
The Boon and Bane you select will affect your growth rates. The stat you select to improve and unimprove are not the only stats that will change . For example, picking Speed as your Boon will also slightly improve your Magic and Resistance (by 5% each), while Speed itself has a +15% addon. Add and subtract the percentages accordingly to end up with your Avatar’s final base growth rates.
The follow sections will show what you gain or lose if you select the stat as a Boon or Bane. Simply scroll down to the stat you’re changing to see what exactly gets affected.
