Seal Defense | After battle, the enemy’s defense is dropped by 6 points. Recovers 1 point per turn |
Swap | Grants access to the command “Swap”, which switches places with an adjacent ally. |
Promotes to: Spear Master or Basara
The Spear Fighter is very balanced and has access to one of the most powerful “Seal” skills: Seal Defense. Given the proliferation of melee allies and how many enemies are very bulky in the Defense department, using Seal Defense to weaken them is a great strategy to more easily defeat enemies without placing your squishier mages within range of attack. Swap can be used to grant your Spear Fighter a chance to attack if an ally finishes their turn in melee range of an enemy, but is otherwise more situational.
Overall, the Spear Fighter and its promotion, Spear Master, is an excellent class, and Seal Defense is why you’re going to be terrified of these enemies if you’re playing Conquest or Revelation .
