The Troubadour is the Nohrian counterpart to the Shrine Maiden/Monk and despite the low stats, rather unimpressive skills, and the inability to attack, the Troubadour will remain relevant forever in your army as a healer, and it is basically mandatory that you have healers in your army!
The Troubadour enjoys the advantages of having higher movement range, letting them come in to heal, and then flee to where it’s safe. And don’t worry about the Troubadour being unable to attack. Their upgrade, Strategist, will let them use magic in addition to healing weapons to make use of their high Magic.
