Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright

Upgrading Facilities

By
Nathan Garvin

Placing a new Statue and upgrading buildings

As you progress through the story or reach certain milestones with characters, you can upgrade your facilities using Dragon Vein Points (DVP). Upgrading shops will give you access to more goods, while upgrading resource gathering points and facilities such as the Arena and Mess Hall will increase their yield/effectiveness. Try to stay up to date with your architecture! Each facilities upgrade costs 1 DVP, and can be upgraded to level 3.

You can also build and upgrade statues, turrets, and terrain for Castle Defense. Turrets, terrain, and functional statues are unlocked as you progress through the story. Turrets and functional statues each cost 1 DVP to build and upgrade. Terrain cannot be upgraded, but are free to build once you unlock them! Character statues upgrades are unlocked after that character defeats certain numbers of enemies. Character statues raise the stat cap of the character and allies with certain support levels with the characters, but only in MyCastle battles. They are free to build, but then cost 3 DVP to upgrade to level 2, and 9 DVP to upgrade to level 3.

The first column of the following tables has the facility, while the second lists the chapters each upgrade becomes available. Some facilities are built in your MyCastle from the start, so only the level 2 and level 3 unlock chapters will be listed.
