Lords of the Fallen (2023)

Lords of the Fallen Vigor Farm: 60k per hour

By
Craig Robinson

For the Souls vets out there, you all know how important leveling up is in Souls-like games. The need to bypass and reach those soft caps and then brute force your way through some of the game’s toughest combat moments is a standard part of the experience of these titles. And Lords of the Fallen is no different. Players looking to farm levels in Lords of the Fallen with the need to acquire Vigor, the soul currency equivalent in this game. Lucky for you, we know a great spot for farming Vigor in Lords of the Fallen, which can grant players around 1k souls a minute, depending on your kill speed, build, skill level, and other factors.

Vigor Fen Farm in Lords of the Fallen

(1 of 4) Start by going through the shortcut at the Fen vestige point.

For those who have made it to the Fen area, you will enter a swampy area, filled with villages. The village contains undead-type dryad creatures, along with spear men, and some mosquito boys that shoot poison magic at you. For the most part, this area has a nice and easy farm route that players can do. You can see the farm in our video example below. The rest of the page is just a rough explanation of what we did and why we did certain things when and where.

To get started in this area, ensure you’ve unlocked the door next to the visage that allows you to enter the village directly. This is key, as the other route you need to go will slow things down

When you can enter the village by the shortcut, your task is to clear the village as efficiently as possible. There is a village warrior as you enter the door, along with a few of the tree zombie people. Feel free to use fire against them as the zombies are weak to it. Also, pull the spearman over to where the warrior is on the perch. If you attack it, then it typically aggros the other two warriors by the bonfire. This forces them to jump up to the perch you and the other spearman are on. If you have a weapon that does good pose and stagger, and can cleave, then you’re in luck, as you can essentially stun-lock them. Examples of these weapons are Great Hammers and Polearms.

Once the warriors are dealt with, there are a few more casters you can kill too by the water and some on the ground. Magic is the best course of farming them, as you won’t need to worry about spending money on ammo refreshes, and instead rest and get your mana back that way.

Also, if you can kill and grievous wound enemies, then it increases the drop chance of runes. This adds some extra vigor to your farm, alongside other clothing and spear drops the moth and the village occupants award. You can use a Wither salt on your weapon, or use the Wither weapon spell you get from Molhu, and use an Umbral Catalyst to apply it easier.

Once you’re done fighting the village occupants near the vestige door, it’s time to cross the water. Ideally, you want to head over to the dock where the two warriors and the smelly dog are. Defeat these enemies, then enter the umbral. This is because there’s a moth lady under the water, and you can easily jump off and do a dicing attack on her for some strong burst. You can also stagger easily during her casts using great weapons and other blunt-type weapons too. If you can kill her, she typically drops large mana crystals, vestige seeds, and other items. If you get a vestige seed, then you save yourself 2.5k vigor when you need to buy them later. If you cap out, you can sell some back in the Skyrest and other items you pick up.

By selling the runes, and the item drops from the villagers, you’ll likely make more than the 1k souls per min average, which is also nice. The runes, presuming you have that feature unlocked, award 50 when sold, and the spear and other clothing typically sell for 150 each, which is often the number of souls you get for your average mob at that point in the game.

You’ll likely have around 4k souls by the end of one run, which can take 4-5 minutes if it’s being done efficiently, and you can pull the shambler zombies over to where you fight the main enemies of the run. If you’re low level, then take things more cautiously, as you have less healing to rely on. It won’t be as efficient as the title, but, when you do get efficient, 60k vigor an hour is certainly achievable.

If you’re struggling to kill the huge clumping spots of enemies, then take things slightly slower. Their attacks are pretty well telegraphed to make soloing each one easier, rather than clumping them together if your build or level struggles with them, depending on when you come to do it.

Hopefully, with that said, you should now be able to farm an early-game farm that is good for all player-level ranges. Granting a few runs per level for end game levels, and a level a run for lower level players.
