Throughout your journey in Lords of the Fallen, you’ll come across a wide selection of NPCs with important stories to tell. Exacter Dunmire is just that, a holy man who has darker ambitions. As you progress the game, he’ll ask you to bring him back specific items that he wants to keep between you and him. One of these items is the Bloody Aspergillum, which he’ll ask you to find during your travels of Pilgrim’s Perch. If you’re looking for the Bloody Aspergillum, look no further as we will give you a detailed guide on where you can find it, and what you can do with it.
Where to Find the Bloody Aspergillum¶
As with all NPCs, always exhaust their dialogue until they repeat themselves as this will usually progress the current step of the quest. If you did that with Exacter Dunmire, he’ll ask you to find a Bloody Aspergillum (which is an implement for sprinkling holy water). Finding the Bloody Aspergillum isn’t as hard as you may think. Continue progressing the game until you reach Pilgrim’s Perch, and you’ll eventually end up in the Sanctuary of Baptism area which can be found not too far away from the Skyrest hub. As you make your way down Pilgrim’s Perch, you’ll eventually reach a large area with a lot of enemies, and on your right, a huge archway you can head into, which is the Sanctuary of Baptism.
Inside, there’ll be a Vestige (Chabui), and a couple of ladders on the opposite side leading up. Take the ladders to the top, and head through the narrow hallway until you see a gap to your right. Travel across the beam to the other side, head left and go down the ladder. Now, run to the opposite end and take that ladder down. Note, that Damarose (NPC) can be found in between the two ladders on the middle floor while in the Umbral Realm. If you want to progress her quest line, you must exhaust her dialogue here. At the bottom of the ladder, head through the nearby doorway, and you’ll encounter the boss “Scourged Sister Delyth”.
Delyth is a relatively easy boss, but she does have deceptive range due to her lunge attack, and the fact that she is using a flail. Before you can damage her, you’ll need to destroy the blue parasite that is hidden in the alcove to the right. Most of her attacks will be weapon combos which you can avoid by dodging toward her, including the lunges. Around half health, she’ll apply Radiance to her weapon which will not only give her attacks the Radiance property, but her attacks will become more explosive, and she will become more aggressive as well. Furthermore, she’ll begin to use a spell called “Flesh Tide” which unleashes a whirlwind of body parts at your location. It’s best to get some distance to avoid this attack, but you can roll through it if you want.
If you want a more detailed strategy on the boss, follow our Scourged Sister Delyth Boss Strategy Guide. Once you’ve defeated Delyth, pickup the Bloody Aspergillum from the altar where the worshipers are. Now, all you need to do is head back to Exacter Dunmire in Skyrest, and hand over the Bloody Aspergillum.
