Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Purple Gypceros

By
Vincent Lau

Purple Gypceros clads itself in purple and green hide, and like Gypceros, retains its stretchy hide and poisonous mannerisms. Equally silly, the Purple Gypceros is, however, far more aggressive and resilient than its cousin.

**Area** **Start** **Roam** **Rest**
Sunken Hollow 3 1, 5, 6 7
Primal Forest 2 5, 6, 7 9

Purple Gypceros when exhausted will drool poison. It can also poison you while pecking.

Running Tail Whip: Purple Gypceros will run past the hunter, then turn around and start whipping its tail back and forth. This can catch you by surprise, but you can roll through it or guard it.

Breakable Parts

Purple Gypceros shares all breakable parts with Gypceros.

Weaknesses

Elemental: Fire, Ice

Status: Blast

After somehow surviving the attack, your efforts impress the Caravaneer and you’re quickly enlisted into the Caravan. Your mission? To discover the secret of a mysterious “Article”, which will almost surely involve hunting bigger and deadlier monsters in a magical, colorful world that is the world of Monster Hunter.
