Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Khezu

By
Vincent Lau

Khezu is an eyeless Flying Wyvern that lives its days out in the darkest depths of caves. Reliant instead on its keen sense of smell, Khezu is master of electric attacks and can suffuse the entirety of its unsettlingly elastic hide in electricity to shock the unlucky hunter. Khezu’s neck is also extendable by some weird power of nature, and Khezu will use this to attack you even if you are very far away.

**Area** **Start** **Roam** **Rest**
Sunken Hollow 6 2, 7, 9 3
Frozen Seaway 6 3, 4, 5, 9 6

Sidechomp: Like all Flying Wyverns, Khezu has a useless and negligible side chomp.

Tail Swing: Khezu can do a double 180 tail swing. Compared to the rest of its attacks, it’s not the most dangerous but watch out for it.

Electroball: Khezu will stabilize itself with its tail, then fire a ball of electricity. It will either fire one or fire three in a spread shot.

Shocker: Khezu will suffuse its entire body in electricity, causing an area of effect attack. If you’re up close and personal, expect to get hit unless you have Evade Distance Up or a shield.

Pouncing Shock: When enraged, Khezu will suffuse its body in electricity, then pounce towards you and release it all at the same time.

Ceiling Electroball: Sometimes Khezu will crawl onto the ceiling and fling balls of electricity towards you while hanging by the tail.

Skyfall: After it is done with the ceiling, Khezu will try to fall on top of you. If it misses narrowly, it still can cause wind pressure and flinch you.

Drooling Pin: When tired, Khezu will be on the ceiling drooling profusely. If you happen to be below it, it will try to pin you. Use a Dung Bomb to flee.

Elastic Bite: Khezu will elongate its neck to more than triple its length to try and attack you. It is not very harmful but it can be quite disgusting.

Breakable Parts

Head: A scar will appear.

Body: Scars will appear.

Weaknesses

Elemental: Fire

Status: Blast
