Another mission, another three workbenches to find, including one that is more than a little sneaky as you have to use a trick you haven’t used before in order to get access to it. Once again, you need to visit and activate all the workbenches in order to get the weapon unlocks available on this map.
Where to find the workbenches in Mission 5: Festung Guernsey¶
We are getting quite a way into the game now so the weapon unlocks are beginning to get interesting, so you certainly don’t want to miss out on what’s available. Let’s go hunting for these pesky workbenches shall we?
Workbench 1 - Rifle workbench¶
If you have read our guide to Festung Guernsey’s Stone Eagles you will already know that the Rifle Workbench here is at the same point as the Stone Eagle While the Eagle sits on the roof, the workbench is up in the tower so you will need to clamber up the vines, and then use the iron bars for the final stage of the journey through the tower window.
This is the first workbench you will find with a Union Jack hanging over it, rather than a French or German flag.
Workbench 2 - Pistol Workbench¶
The pistol workbench in Mission 5 is close to where you will exfil from , so you can save it until then should you wish. This is a busy area you will want to clear out first potentially including a camp with a tank (it’s best to have a little fun and blow that up too). In that area find the AA gun and the workbench is on the right.
Workbench 3 - SMG workbench¶
The SMG workbench is tucked away in a small stone cottage not far from the underground hospital. The door to outside will be locked and you could quite easily break in and see nothing of consequence and leave again. More fool you. Drop to the prone position and crawl under the table and you will see a ladder. Drop down there and voila, a workbench full of treats for you.
