Sniper Elite 5

Workbenches

Workbenches 8

It’s finally time for the last set of workbenches in Sniper Elite 5. Nothing overly tricky here, although we did struggle to get to one on the PC due to fiddly controls. Other than that the workbenches are well spread through the level so let’s get cracking.

Where to find the workbenches in Mission 8: Rubble and Ruins

The location of the three workbenches in Mission 8: Rubble and Ruins.

Unlock the Stone Eagles for Mission 8, not all workbenches are before the U-Boat section. You will however need to get to the Pistol and SMG workbenches before entering the sewer, because once you pass through that gate, you won’t be coming back out again without a reload.

Workbench 1 - Pistol workbench

(1 of 2) You will find this workbench in the crypt underneath the church.

The first workbench you will get to is the Resistance workbench hidden in the church crypt. At the northern end of the church there is a door to the Northwest that you can blow with a satchel charge, although there is a crypt key to be found at the top of the tower if you would like to be a little more sacred.

Either way, get through the door, drop down into the crypt. Easy enough.

Workbench 2 - SMG workbench

(1 of 2) You need to make a leap to grab onto that hanging piece of flooring and then climb up.

This one we had little trouble with on the PC. Not so much finding it but there is a jump you have to make - and bear in mind this is a game without a jump mechanic but once you make it it’s easy picking. Look for the blue icon highlighting the Resistance weapons cache near the town hall with your Kill target for the mission.

Look for the building on the corner with the generator and a ramp. Go up the ramp and now you have to jump to catch the hanging piece of flooring and climb up it to the Workbench.

If you position yourself just right on the edge you will get the Jump command. Hit the key and you will make the leap - probably after you have fallen off it about 10 times.

Workbench 3 - Rifle workbench

(1 of 2) Once you have passed through the sewer you will find the Rifle workbench near the U-Boats.

Once you have passed through the sewer you will find the Rifle workbench near the U-Boats. (left), Upgrade your Rifle and get back to ending Operation Kraken. (right)

Make sure you have finished with any objectives before heading through the sewers. This one is easy to find. After you have blown the safe and passed through you will be in a large room where you will come under sustained attack once the guards have been alerted. Once the firefight has died down, search all the bodies and you should find a key to the armoury. If not there is one in the locked chest in the middle of the room.

The armoury is to the left of this room, you will see it behind a cage wall. Enter it and unlock the final workbench. You’ll get a Tinkerer achievement if you have followed along and got them all.
