There are 300 optional missions in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII: Reunion. The Is It a Vacation Yet? (M10-4-3) mission can be found in the Mysteries of the World Category.
How to Unlock Mission 10-4-3¶
The Is It a Vacation Yet? mission can be found under the More Fun in the Sun! sub-category that you can unlock by as early as Chapter 6. You must first complete M3-2-1 and M3-2-2 to unlock M10-3-1, of which there are only three missions in this sub-category. This will unlock M10-4 and the Is it a Vacation Yet? is the final one in this sub-category. All of the Missions in this (and the previous) sub-category all take place on the beach at Costa Del Sol.
How to Defeat the Sea Hulk¶
Like all of the vacation style missions, there are no chests to locate, and you’ll be thrust straight into battle with Zack in his beach attire and wielding the parasol (this is all cosmetic, don’t worry).
The goal for this Mission is to defeat the Sea Hulk, another dreaded Behemoth that comes with one major difference, it has a potent permanent Regen buff on it, meaning you’ll need to keep up the damage. Before going into the battle, consider having your VIT and HP as high as possible, Wall equipped, and have access to a Phoenix Down. If you have some resistance to Thunder, be sure to equip this too to help with one the Sea Hulk’s attacks.
By now, you’ve probably faced plenty of Behemoth-type enemies so you should know how to deal with its Double Claw Swipe and Double Tail Swipe (both of which are unnamed) and Wall and high VIT will help out with that. Gyro Tail is a deadly attack to keep an eye out for, but it will appear above the Sea Hulk’s head before it uses the attack. This will cause it to spin around and use its tail to swipe you, dealing massive damage so as soon as you see the name, run back and get ready to dodge.
Heave is another of the Sea Hulk’s named attacks that will deal heavy damage, although this one is much easier to dodge to the side to avoid. Once you take Sea Hulk to below 50% HP, it will start using Ten Million Volts, an ability that works very similar to Electrocute so having some resistance to Thunder can help here, otherwise keep on the move.
The main difficulty in this fight rises from having to keep up the damage. Due to Sea Hulk’s HP (232,800 on Normal), the Regen will be giving him 7275 HP back every tick. Thankfully, you can rely on Costly Punch to deal massive damage to it, just be careful not to let your HP drop too low.
