There are 300 optional missions in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII: Reunion. Peacekeeping Troops (M1-2) can be found in the Shinra Electric Power Company category.
How to Unlock the Peacekeeping Troops Missions in Crisis Core Reunion¶
You will have to wait until Chapter 2 in order to unlock this set of missions. Once you have gotten there, make sure you don’t speak to Tseng, as that will continue the main story. Exit the Briefing Room and Kusnel will bring you out of the Shinra Building, to Sector 8 - Fountain. There is another zone to the north that you can enter, called LOVELESS Avenue. Go into this area and down the first alley to the east, where you should see a Shinra Captain. Speak to him and you will unlock the first mission in this set.
Mission | Unlock | Rank | Enemies | Reward |
---|---|---|---|---|
1-2-1: Challenge from Security | Speak to Shinra Captain on LOVELESS Avenue | 1 | Storm Trooper, Corporal | Shinra Alpha |
1-2-2: Second Challenge | Complete Mission 1-2-1 | 1 | Storm Trooper, Corporal, Red Saucer | Silence Materia |
1-2-3: Third Challenge | Complete Mission 1-2-2 | 1 | Storm Trooper, Red Saucer, Corporal | Four Slots |
1-2-4: Getting Serious | Complete Mission 1-2-3 | 2 | Storm Trooper, Corporal, Red Saucer | Force Bracelet |
1-2-5: Armed Challenge | Complete Mission 1-2-4 | 2 | Corporal, Red Saucer, Sweeper+ | Ice Armlet |
1-2-6: Last Challenge | Complete Mission 1-2-5 | 3 | Corporal, Sweeper+, Flying Machine, Arachno | Fat Chocobo Feather |
The first four missions of this set are pretty easy, as you will be facing the same kinds of enemies, none of which really pose a threat. You will just need to be a little careful with the Grenades that the human enemies can throw, as they can be a little difficult to see amidst all of the action. The fifth mission is a bit more challenging, due to the Sweepers, although they aren’t too bad, especially if you have any type of Thunder-based attacks.
The final mission is definitely the most challenging, due to the boss at the end, as well as the Flying Machines you can encounter in the random battles. The Fly Machines’ attacks can hurt quite a bit, especially if you are attempting this mission as soon as you can. As for the boss, the Arachno, you will need to be extremely careful of its Super EM Field attack. This is a dome of energy that extends a little bit from the machine and if you get caught in it, you will likely die. Thankfully, you can easily bait this attack to make it easier to avoid, especially if the boss is away from you. Despite being a machine, it is not weak to Thunder, so just use any attacks (Gravity doesn’t work).
