The rough Hoshidan equivalent to the Berserker, the Oni Chieftain has high Defense and lots of power, with low accuracy and low resistance. However, the Oni Chieftain sports useable magic, setting it apart from many other classes and allowing it versatility. The Oni Chieftain also has access to some very powerful skills that a Berserker would kill for. Death Blow is very powerful since it has no downside, unlike Gamble, and Counter lets you hurt enemies who hurt you back (although it doesn’t prevent you from dying). Beware of enemies sporting Counter for sure!

The Oni Chieftain is ultimately a satisfactory powerhouse but loses points due to the underwhelming nature of clubs, not to mention its exclusivity to Oni Savages, which are rare in the game already, makes it a hard class to find.
