Now this is a fun map, and you will likely find it easier than the last few levels. No time limit here is one big reason. Another reason is that the enemies are constrained to multiple bottleneck points, which limits their ability to Zerg rush you. Watch for flying units, and bring Niles along . He’ll have a field day with his Bow. Also, note that the two Shrine Maidens here have no healing staves: they are focused on silencing and freezing your units (as usual).
Keaton , a Wolfskin, will apparently be very lost (he has no sense of direction). Talk to him using the Avatar and he’ll join up with you permanently! He’ll be running towards you while being chased by enemies, so it shouldn’t be too hard.
There is a small group of enemies up to the north. You don’t need to send your entire army up there but it’ll be worth your while and experience to send three or four units to engage them, along with a healer to back them up. Like when Camilla joined you, your new ally Leo may be tempting to use to mow down the ranks, but he’ll eat up all the precious experience, so save him for emergency situations only!
Around turn 7, you will see the enemy reinforcements come in from the east, around where you originall spawned: Paired Sky Knights and Kinshi Knights. To do more damage, the Kinshi Knights will be in attack stance. Niles is very effective in taking them out.
There’s two chests on this map that you will want to make sure you get: The chest on the stage contains a Seraph Robe , while the chest by the Shrine Maiden holding a Chest Key holds 10,000 Gold ! No enemies will take them, so take your time grabbing them. Kaze or Niles with Locktouch is as usual a free pass if using those Chest Keys is too much work.
Once the reinforcements are dealt with and the chests are gathered up, move your troops through the narrow bridge to the boss, Kumagera . If you wish, send in a ranged unit to deal with the archer behind the boss, but Kumagera’s weapon, the Mace , can hit from afar and up close, so be careful who exactly you put in range and bring Elise to heal them up when needed. As with all bosses, it’s best to whittle him down and defeat him during your phase, otherwise he could defeat your more fragile units.
Kumagera has the Certain Blow skill so all the more reason to get him defeated in your phase!
