The Throne Room has been transformed quite a bit, now filled with weird water and torn up islands. At the end is Takumi. Reinforcements will come out of these waters as we head downwards (see above). It will always be the same type of Faceless foe as well: not quite max level (unlike the main enemies), but strong enough that they will be a pain. You can tell by their lack of skills and slightly-lower stats these enemies were designed to be a nuisance more than a real threat in this battle.
The real threat in this battle is of course Takumi . He has a special attack that will hit the entire field , greatly damaging the first person it hits in each column on the map. This is where the Dragon Veins come in! Don’t use them right away, but once you see Takumi charging his super-attack go ahead and use a Dragon Vein with one of your royals. This will put up a barrier (close to Takumi) that blocks the middle lane at the very least. After that, move all of your characters to the middle lanes to keep them safe. You will probably have to do this multiple times depending on how fast or slow you are getting down to where he is. So hop to it!
Head south, luring out enemies with your beefier units (Great Knights, Generals) and obliterating them when they get near your team. The boulders in the way will make this a bit more challenging, but you’ll make your way to Takumi easily enough (the Takumi part then is not as easy). As far as the Faceless reinforcements go, you’ll have to deal with them as you head down. They appear at the end of turns and always in groups. Let them come at you from behind and dedicate 2-3 units to take them out at the back of your column, but keep pushing down towards Takumi regardless. Because of how easily they can flank you, keep your healers surrounded, instead of behind.
Playing on higher difficulties will have you waging war with staff users who will like to spam Enfeeble on your units so that by the time they make it to Takumi, their stats are too low for them to put up a fight. Pair up units and have one of them be Enfeeble fodder so you can just switch near the boss (but make sure they survive the journey down!).
Once you get close to Takumi, wait for his super shot to pass and then send in the killing crew. Only your strongest units will do here: Corrin and any other high-defense level 20 power house you have. While there are technically two Takumi units here, you only have to take down the first one to end the battle.
However, the fact that Takumi has a duplicate he is paired up with could potentially spell the end of your units. Guard stance Takumi has a special skill, Bold Stance , allowing him to attack as if he were paired adjacently with attack stance Takumi, and this isn’t factored into the combat forecast . So when you attack with a unit, expect more damage than what is forecasted so that you don’t lose anyone. Takumi here essentially has all of the advantages and none of the disadvantages of both forms of pairing. Pair up units to attack so that you can get boosted stats and dual guard. You’ll need all the defense you can get.
Make sure you defeat Takumi on your phase. You don’t want to get a facefull of Skadi on an already weakened unit at all.
