Siegbert | Cavalier | Automatically at battle beginning |
This map mandates you to use all the Dragon Veins before you clear all the enemies. Using the Dragon Veins will prevent reinforcements from coming from that lake. Now, normally, you would rejoice over infinite enemies and EXP; however, all of the reinforcements from the lake come with the Void Curse ability, which makes it so no EXP is gained from battling that unit. As such, shut down those spawning points quick to save yourself as much headache as possible! Bring along royals and their children, if you have any, to help speed up the process.
Siegbert will be surrounded a bit at the start of the battle, but the northern enemies don’t really move and the enemies that are within striking distance are lower level. You can also move him to the Fort nearby if you wish, but his first turn should be used to use his Offspring Seal, which he will have if this Paralogue is done after Chapter 19.
Other than getting your royals to the Dragon Veins and taking your time moving your units towards the enemy, this is a fairly easy fight. Send your best mage to the right immediately to take care of the Onmyoji and Dark Knights, then send tough units north to wipe out the enemies on your way to the two forts. Flying units are a plus for their mobility, but watch the Snipers north of the fort. You can use flyers to transport slower units like Generals up north if you wish, but don’t let the Snipers get them.
Make your way north, wiping out enemies and closing Dragon Veins. Finally, push to the northeast, using the remaining Dragon Veins first and then wiping out the remaining units to end the battle. The General and Hero are the “boss units,” but once they fall the map will be won.
