Map of Chapter 26

Location Objective
Shirasagi: Foyer Seize
Enemies Present
Faceless
Hero
Stoneborn
Sorcerer
Maid
Berserker
General

This is another battle where you’ll end up splitting your troops. After the first room, of course, as you have to deal with the heroes that are just below you. They have quite a few special weapons here, so be careful. Break the door down with ranged units and then bar the path with high defense units (Generals work well). Let the enemy waste their attacks on you and then charge, taking all the heroes down.

From here, you should split up the team and march one party down the left and another on the right. The left path is more melee focused with some of the Faceless having Poison Strike, so be careful of them and plan out your attacks, bringing a healer on backup. Some also have Savage Blow, so you want to try killing them first, as well. There are some Stoneborn on this side, so they’ll be attacking from out of your range, but their accuracy is low. Be sure to send someone with Locktouch for the chest. Regroup at the next door, breaking it when you’re ready. Leave the Stoneborn for last. Even your healers should be able to take a hit from a Stoneborn at this point, and again, low accuracy means low on the priority list.

The right side is much more magic-based, so high resistance units are very much needed. Gather your units by the door and on a new turn, break it down and storm the mages. Falcon Knights, Adventurers and your own mages will make short work of them. Focus on the Sorcerer units first and kill as many off as you can , as the Maids are focused on healing and buffing (or de-buffing).

As you fight your way south, do not break open the lower doors until both groups are ready. This is because if you do, the enemies inside will all rush you. You need to be careful of the special weapons here, mainly the Beastkiller and Hammer weapons. Open both doors at the same time and let the enemies come to you. You can counterattack hard after this. Heal up as well and if you can, safeguard healers and fragile units with bulkier ones. The Berserkers hit hard and are prone to not missing.

Hans is also in this group as well, and he can get in a lucky hit at any time so try to take him out after softening him up with ranged attacks. As a bonus, he gives you the special axe Aurgelmir, which is very nice. Once you take out the southern units, all that is left is Iago. Loot the three chests in his room for the goodies, then go ahead and take him out. High resistance units will help a ton here. When you’re done, seize the spot he was on afterwards to complete this map. As a bonus, you get the Excalibur spell book. Very nice!
