To use the below console commands, you will first need to activate ‘cheat mode’ from the engine config for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. This is an entirely safe and reversable process, supported by the developer as a sandbox feature. To find the engine config text file, navigate to the Bannerlord documents folder. By default, this will be located here:
[YOUR PC] > Documents > Mount and Blade II Bannerlord > Configs > engine_config.txt
Once there, open the text file and search for the line ‘cheat mode’, which will be set to ‘cheat_mode = 0’ by default. Change this to ‘cheat_mode = 1’, save the text file and close it. If you’re having trouble finding the correct text line, press CTRL + F to bring up the document search box, from which you can enter ‘cheat_mode’ to find the line immediately.
Once this is enabled, you will have access to a number of new features in game. These can be used as follows:
-
On the campaign map, hold CTRL and left click anywhere on the map to be teleported there immediately.
-
While moving on the campaign map, press CTRL + ALT + T to reveal all units on the map
-
In combat, , press CTRL + H to replenish health
-

-

In addition to the above, you can now open your inventory on the campaign map and find all items currently available within the game world in the tab to the left. You can drag any of these items to your inventory. Exiting the inventory screen will replenish the stock available. This means that if you take all smithing materials at once, you can simply close the inventory tab and reopen it to get the same amount again.
If you want to experiment even further with what the game has to offer, you can currently download the Developer Console mod, granting you access to numerous commands. The most commonly used of these are as follows:
