Bannerlord Control Perks: Throwing¶
This perk tree allows you to develop your skill with throwable weapons. These include throwing axes, javelins, knives, and daggers. There are no mutually exclusive perks in this tree, allowing you to invest in all of them with enough skill level. The perks focus on improving accuracy and damage of throwables, but also the amount that you can carry at any given time. In addition, the level 100 perk offers the ability to increase your party size by 5. Not a large amount on its own, but this can add to the total from other perk trees.
Throwing Perk Skill Levels:¶
Skill Level 25:¶
- Quick Draw:
(Personal) Increases your drawing speed with throwing weapons by 20%
(Captain) Increases your troops’ drawing speed of throwing weapons by 10%
- Shield Breaker:
(Personal) You deal 40% more damage with throwing weapons against shields
(Captain) Troops in your formation deal 8% more damage with throwing weapons against shields
Skill Level 50:¶
- Flexible Fighter:
(Personal) Melee usage of thrown weapons deals 10% more damage
(Captain) Infantry gains +15 to all Control skills, ranged troops gain +15 to all Vigor skills
- Hunter:
(Personal) Deal 40% more damage with throwing weapons against horses
(Captain) Troops in your formation deal 8% more damage with throwing weapons against mounts
Skill Level 75:¶
- Mounted Skirmisher:
(Personal) Decreases mounted accuracy penalties by 20% while using a throwing weapon
(Captain) Mounted troops under your command deal 10% more damage with thrown weapons
- Perfect Technique:
(Personal) Projectile speed of your throwing weapons is increased by 25%
(Captain) Troops under your command have their projectile speed increased by 10%
Skill Level 100:¶
- Knock Off:
(Personal) Thrown weapon hits that deal damage over 25% of enemy cavalry’s health have 50% chance to dismount them
(Captain) Troops in the formation you control deal 5% more throwing weapon damage against enemy cavalry
- Running Throw:
(Personal) Your throwing weapons gain 25% additional speed from your movement
(Captain) Troops under your command have +30 throwing skill
Skill Level 125:¶
- Skirmisher:
(Personal) When you are holding a throwing weapon, you take 10% less damage from ranged attacks
(Captain) Troops under your command take 3% less damage from ranged attacks
- Well Prepared:
(Personal) You have +1 ammunition for throwing weapons
(Party Leader) Ranged troops in your party have 25% chance of having +1 ammunition for throwing weapons
Skill Level 150:¶
- Focus:
(Personal) You can zoom in 25% more with throwing weapons
(Governor) Increases security of governed settlement by +1
- Last Hit:
(Personal) Your throwing weapons deal 50% more damage to enemies with less than 50% hit points left
(Party Leader) Increases the morale of your party at the start of the battle by +5
Skill Level 175:¶
- Head Hunter:
(Personal) +50% damage to headshots with thrown weapons
(Party Leader) Tier 2+ troops are 20% cheaper to recruit
- Throwing Competitions:
(Party Leader) Infantry upgrades are 20% cheaper
(Governor) Governed settlement gains 0.5 militia per day
Skill Level 200:¶
- Saddlebags:
(Personal) When you start a battle mounted, you have +2 ammunition for throwing weapons
(Party Leader) Your infantry troops in your party gain +1 XP each day
- Splinters:
(Personal) Your throwing axes deal triple damage to shields
(Captain) Troops under your command deal 50% more damage to shields with throwing weapons
Skill Level 225:¶
- Long Reach:
(Personal) You can pick up spears or weapons from the ground while mounted
(Party Leader) Winning battles give 20% more morale and renown
- Resourceful:
(Personal) You have +2 ammunition for throwing weapons
(Party Leader) Throwing weapon equipped troops gain 10% more XP after battles
Skill Level 250:¶
- Impale:
(Personal) Javelins you throw penetrate shields like ballista bolts
(Captain) Infantry troops in your formation deal 10% more damage with their throwing weapons
- Weak Spot:
(Personal) Throwing weapons ignore 30% of enemy armor
(Captain) Troops in your formation ignore 10% of enemy armor when attacking with thrown weapons
Skill Level 275:¶
- Unstoppable Force:
(Personal) Each skill point above 200 grants 0.2% projectile speed with throwing weapons
(Personal) Each skill point above 200 grants 0.5% damage increase with throwing weapons
