Fist Fighting Championship Trophy |
The follow-up quest to Fists of Fury: Toussaint, this quest will begin immediately after defeating the three lesser champions around Beauclair, including Mancomb, Still Waters and Colossus. It’s a bit higher level than previous quests, clocking in at level forty, but after all you’ve done in Blood and Wine, it’s nearly inconceivable - even with a new character - that you’re not at least level thirty-five yourself. That being the case, you should be fine with the prospect of challenging some higher-level quests (within reason), so don’t be surprised to see quest levels climbing up steadily hereafter.
That out of the way, this quest is easy enough should you have a good grasp on the basics of fist fighting… which largely consists of knowing how to parry attacks. Make your way to the docks at the northeastern end of Beauclair (northeast of the Beauclair Port signpost) to find the champion, the Maestro, the Drunken Master.
Fists of Fury Toussaint Maestro Tips¶
CDProjekt is trying desperately to squeeze what they can out of the fist fighting mechanics in this game, and given how shallow they are… well, they’re clearly almost out of ideas. To add a twist to this fight, the following stipulation is in place: the Drunken Master only fights drunk, a condition he imposes on his challengers. Aside from the blurry, double-vision, which shouldn’t be much of a hindrance at all, it’s a normal fight, and the Maestro can be defeated the same way the majority of the other pugilists in the game could be.
Overcome your mutual impairment and win the fight to emerge as the fist fighting champion of Toussaint. Depending on how successful you were, and how bold your wagers were, you could have earned yourself a tidy bit of experience and over 1,000 Crowns at very little risk to yourself. Not bad. Most importantly, perhaps, defeating all four opponents in the fist fighting questline proves you possess the knightly virtue of Valor, making this one of the more unmissable virtues.

200 XP / 2 - 300 Crowns / Fist Fighting Championship Trophy |
For the next quests you’ll need to venture outside of Beauclair, indeed, away from civilization entirely. There’s still more to be done in an around Beauclair, but these quests - A Portrait of the Witcher as an Old Man (level forty-three) and Feet as Cold as Ice (level forty-five) - are somewhat higher level, and thus will be saved for later. The next quests up are Father Knows Worst, Big Game Hunter and Vintner’s Contract: Chuchote Cave.
