Suggested Level: 35
To start this quest, fast travel back to Balagrae and look at your map. Note two roads running to the west, one to the north, and one to the south. Follow the southern road west until you find a man named Galenos lying on the side of the road, apparently helpless after a… manticore stole his eyes? Talk to him to start the quest, then pick him up, carry him back to the clinic in Balagrae, set him down at the appointed spot and talk to Theramenes.
After wondering at the damage done to Galenos, Theramenes will sheepishly admit that he doesn’t quite have all the ingredients required for proper treatment… at least, what passed as proper treatment back in these days. Naturally, Bayek agrees to gather these ingredients, which happen to be three doses of snake venom and two Ibex Horns. If you somehow don’t have enough of these lying about, you’ll likely find the beasts you need to kill (cobras and ibex) in the fields to the southeast.
Gather them and return to Theramenes and, naturally, he’ll have another task for you. Seems now you’ll need to find him some Silphium, which can be found near - but not in - the Balagrae Roman Barracks to the north. Head north and when you reach a search area, use Senu to sniff out the Silphium, which can be found in a depot southeast of the aforementioned camp. Approach the northern walls of this depot and search until you find an opening you can squeeze through, behind which are some bushes that run the length of the wall, making it easy to kill the Romans lurking about. When they’re dead, enter the large building at the eastern end of the depot and grab the Silphium, then take your pilfered prize back to Theramenes to complete this quest.
