Suggested Level: 31
Betrayed, but not broken, Bayek attempts to focus on trivial gains in the face of the ultimate disatisfaction they currently feel about the unfortunate swing in politics. Septimius may hide behind crowned heads, but gold doesn’t make great armor. Still, both Aya and Bayek find the obsession Caesar had with the Tomb of Alexander the Great to be curious, especially since they bothered to take his staff, last seen in Cleopatra’s hands as she addressed Alexandria.
Tomb of Alexander the Great¶
Speak to Aya, then make your way back to the Tomb of Alexander the Great, now a restricted area. Not surprising, considering that the two Medjay are now persona non grata, at best. Sneak past or kill the Romans guarding the tomb, and when you reach the main chamber, climb the pillars near the statue to reach an upper level, where you’ll find the Papyrus Puzzle scroll “ Ray of Hope “ near a statue’s feet.

You’ll get around to solving this later, but for now, drop back down into the tomb’s antechamber, head down stairs and end the room housing Alexander’s sarcophagus. Here you’ll find Apollodorus fighting with some soldiers, and after you kill them he’ll blame yet another Roman - Flavius, The Lion - for the death of Khemu, before warning them of the danger that faces Siwa. After he’s done talking, this quest will and and “ The Final Weighing “ will begin.
