Suggested Level: 12
Start this quest by heading north from the fast travel point in Kanopos, where you’ll find a woman named Selene crying over the corpse of a man named Halius. Apparently the hostility between the chariot factions has turned to violence, as was all too frequently the case, and it has resulted in the death of her son, Halius. Even worse, her other son Icarius has gone to avenge his brother. Small wonder, then, that Selene mourns, and asks Bayek to rescue Icarius.
Make your way southeast to the search area and deploy Senu to locate Icarius, who is being held captive along the coast just south and east of Kanopos. His captors consist of a band of Blues ruffians (levels 11-12), who are awfully dedicated to this chariot business if they’re willing to fight Bayek to the death over it. They are, however, so you should treat them as the lawless thugs they are. You can again use foliage, archery or flammable oil jars to your advantage, should you think you need an edge against them.
Once they’re all slain, loot the camp to find a few containers as well as some notes that mention the less-than-legal activities going on with these races. Curious stuff, to be sure, but don’t neglect to free and speak to Icarius. The Blues aren’t the only ones overly devoted to chariot racing, however, as Icarius implores you to find the bust the Blues stole, which was thrown into the nearby river.
Oh well, guess there’s no helping it. Deploy Senu again and locate the bust, which is in the water to the north and somewhat west of the Blues camp, close to a docked trireme. Swim on over to the location, dive, and grab the bust, then take it back to Selene in Kanopos. By now she should have moved home, somewhere west of the fast travel point, near a blacksmith. Once done, this quest will end.
