By
Shane Williams

GTA Online offers two ways to get across Los Santos. The first are your normal aircrafts, which spawn at the airport if you’re the correct level, and the second is a flying bike/car that be purchased on the Warstock Site. Below you’ll find a list on the best flying vehicles to use in GTA Online.

Top 5 Flying Vehicles

Oppressor MK II

Upgrade Price
Armor Upgrade 1-5 $1,000 - $50,000
Chaff $70,000
Flare $110,000
Engine Upgrade 1-4 $9,000 - $33,500
Xenon Lights $7,500
Livery’s $18,240 - $31,350
Explosive MG $275,000
Homing Missiles $180,000

The Oppressor MK II was released July 14th, 2018 as an upgraded version of the Oppressor. Due to it being able to fly at high speed, this vehicle is perfect for someone who is heavily invested in business, as you’ll be able to get from the bottom to the top of the map in seconds due to its top speed of 130mph.

Whilst upgrading this vehicle, make sure to add the Chaff, as it’ll prevent other players from blowing you up with homing missiles or jets. Finally, the Oppressor is great for missions like Deal Breaker and Pier Pressure, as these require to get in and out of situations quickly.

Deluxo

The Deluxo is based on the DeLorean and was available as a part of The Doomsday Heist which was added back in December 12th, 2017. This Vehicle can fly like the Oppressor and gives you a Machine Gun and Homing Missiles.

Unfortunately, this car doesn’t come with a defence system like the Oppressor, so make sure to add a Mounted MGs and Missiles to fend off against other players. Due to this being very similar to the Oppressor, the Deluxo is great for missions like Deal Breaker and Pier Pressure, as it’s good for getting in and out situations quickly.

Besra

The Besra was added to GTA Online in the SA Flight School Update that was released back in 2014 and it’s design comes from the Northrop F-5. This Aircraft can be found in Fort Zancudo or can be purchased through Elitas Travel if you own a Hangar.

The main selling point of the Besra is its high speed of 204 mph allowing you to zoom up and down Los Santos in seconds, and because it’s so lightweight, you can do all kinds stunts, such as loop the loop.

P-996 LAZER

The P-996 LAZER which is based on the F-16 Fighting Falcon has been in GTA Online since the release back in 2013. This aircraft has only been accessible in Fort Zancudo, but since 2017 you can purchase it off the Warstock Site.

P-996 LAZER is perfect for someone who likes to fly across Los Santos at high-speeds, as this aircraft can hit a top speed of 195 mph or if you like causing plenty of explosions, then having access to cannons and homing missiles is extremely fun.

HYDRA

The HYDRA which is based on the British Aerospace Harrier II has been in GTA Online since 2015. You can’t find this aircraft out in the world, so you’ll need to complete the The Humane Labs Raid in order to purchase it off the Warstock Site.

The HYDRA is very similar to the P-996 Lazer, but with slightly worse acceleration and handling. You’ll only want to purchase this purely based on your money, as the P-996 Lazer will cost you $6,500,000.
