Grand Theft Auto V

East Coast

The course starts out fairly straight and then loops into a figure of eight so you will be making some tight turns throughout the latter stages of the race.

From the start, speed towards the rock opening. Make sure to take waves head on for some good air and so you will not be slowed down and keep the throttle at full. Doing this should allow you to be in first place by the time you reach the figure eight.

Try not to get bunched up with the others here. If you are behind them, wait until you’re through before you make your move or you could hit the rocks (left). Try not to turn too sharply unless you need to because it slows you down a lot (right).

Keep your eyes ahead to the next checkpoint at all times and note the direction of the marker. It will allow you to prepare your approach. So if the checkpoint shows a tight turn marker, make sure to slow up a little as you hit it and make a fairly sharp turn. You should get used to the limits of the Seashark for this race as it is not a very complex course.

If you need to make a sharp turn, do not approach the waves head on. Instead go in at a bit of an angle so you do not get the same amount of air or you will find yourself having to slow up almost to a stop to make the turn. Keep it steady, easing off the throttle as you hit the turn and then opening it again as you come out of the turn.

If you manage to take the figure eight well, you should easily come out on top and get the Gold medal
