This is a monstrous race encompassing most of the city limits. It has 60 checkpoints but you only have to complete one lap because of the length of the circuit. There is a nice reward for your hard work though so it’s not all bad.
A good car is a must to keep ahead of the competition as it is quite fierce and your first time through may be fraught with difficulty as you will not know the circuit. Fill Franklin’s driving meter before the race and use it to help you out should you need it.
The beginning of the race is fairly uneventful in turns of difficult parts. It is a slightly windy road but you can go near enough flat out through this bit. Just watch out for the abundance of motorbike riders that seem to appear as you race through this section.
You will be racing through Vinewood Hills whereby you will come to the first tricky test. There are a couple of very tight corners that you should use Franklin’s special around. You will be able to negotiate those corners much better than the other racers, giving you more of a gap over them. This will also help even if you aren’t in a super fast car
Heading back down from the hills, you will be able to pick up a fair amount of speed. There is one particularly long stretch where you can really put your foot down and open up a nice lead on your opponents.
After this section there are a couple more tight turns to maneuver through so use Franklin’s special if you need to. For the rest of the race you should be looking to pick up some speed as you race towards the finish line. The final turn up the hill just before the finish may give you a bit of trouble so slow up a little or use Franklin’s special in a final burst.
