Just off Galileo Road, Great Chapparal | 500 |
Use Franklin for this race to make it much easier. Without him you have to be a lot more conservative around corners.
The jeep is not the easiest vehicle to handle and the track is very slippery. Any turns at speed will have you sliding off course which, in certain parts of the race, is a death knell. You can respawn your vehicle should you come off the road but it becomes harder to catch up.
At the start, do not go blazing ahead as there is a sharp turn at checkpoint 2 which you will need to navigate at a low speed so you don’t go flying off the edge. The first part of the course is fraught with sheer drops so use Franklin’s special to steer around the turns and stay on the path.
After you have finished the last tight turn and started the descent, you can put your foot down and put some distance in between yourself and the others. Fly across the bridge and the road before coming back onto the dirt track. Once again, you may need to use Franklin’s special in short bursts while you drive round bends. Also, watch out for any deer around. They have a lovely habit of jumping out in front of the jeep.
A couple more turns later, and you will be at the finish line and hopefully arrived in first place.
