There are a variety of vests available in MW3 Multiplayer and each one has individual effects which could give you an advantage in battle. The Overkill and Gunner Vest will allow you to carry the two primary weapons. Read below to learn how to get the overkill perk in MW3.
How to Get The Overkill Perk in MW3¶
Overkill is a hidden perk in this year’s Call of Duty, but there are two pieces of equipment that you can use to get the Overkill Perk in MW3 such as the Gunner Vest which is unlocked at Level 20, or the Overkill Vest which is unlocked at Level 50. The Gunner Vest is definitely worth using for the time being, but you’ll want to make sure you switch over to the Overkill Vest immediately when you hit level 50 due to the additional effects it gives you, such as Increased Weapon Speed, Reload While Sprinting and you can also equip boots alongside it. We recommend that you equip the Covert Sneakers and it’ll make your footsteps silent.
Having the ability to carry to primary’s is amazing for aggressive players if you run out of ammo with one weapon during a gunfight, then you can quickly swap over to another fully loaded Assault Rifle instead of reloading and potentially dying. Alternatively, you can carry a shotgun in your second weapon slot, so you can switch between long and close-range weapons easily. Unfortunately, Level 50 will take a while to reach for a lot of players, but there are a couple of things you can do to reach it slightly quicker, such as completing all the daily challenges, winning matches and unlocking camos, etc.
