Modern Warfare 3 launches on November 10, and is riding the coattails of nostalgia, with its entire launch day map package containing all previously released maps. Most maps are from the original Modern Warfare 2 in 2009, offering players a return to fan favs like Rust, Highrise, and Terminal, along with the less popular but still great maps like Afghan, Skidrow, and more. In addition, the developers of the game confirmed that there is one more map coming over from MW2 post-launch. These three confirmed, and one unconfirmed map will arrive shortly after the game’s launch. As for the remaining seasons of the game, expect more brand new maps, alongside additional remastered maps getting added to the game. As with most new maps, expect to see 24/7 game modes for those maps as they go live, and you can expect to see them in the potential voting list of maps when you queue for lobbies.
