At the end of Act 1 in MW3’s Zombies mode, you are tasked with finding an NPC in the Exclusion Zone. The fabled Dr. Jansens is around town, and she needs extraction, and with it comes news about what is going on in the area. However, Dr Jansen’s Coordinates change, so here’s a closer look at the objective and the follow-up to the quest.

Dr. Jansen’s Coordiantes in MW3 Zombies¶

To find Dr Jansen’s Coordinates in MW3, you simply need to open your Tac-Map and look for a special Extraction type icon. This will open up in a road area, typically in Tier 2-type areas of the map. Look for the icon with the blue man going towards a star. This indicates an Extraction type mission, with a main story mission type icon to deviate from the typical extract from the map icons. You can see an example of the icon in our text here.

Once you get there, simply call in the Chopper and then extract. It will take you to a special level in the game mode, bringing you and your squad with you. Make sure only to visit this location once you are ready to do it, as the story mission is somewhat tough to do. Below, we have a few tips to prepare you for your journey.

Finding Dr. Jansen’s Location and Bring in for Questioning¶

Once you’ve gone to the special mission location, you must do the following objectives. Each objective will require you to visit a point of interest on your HUD so don’t worry too much about it.

1. Access the Comms Tower
2. Search the Area for Dr Jansen’s location
3. File Deletion Progress - A Timer / defend the area type of objective.
4. Escort Dr Jansen to the Helipad.
5. Board the Helicopter

For the most part, you will need to track down various locations on your HuD, interacting with objects or areas, and defending them. When you start the mission, Tier 2 Zombies will start spawning, and you will need to be wary of your pathing as you make your way to the Comms Tower.

When you activate the Comms Tower, Mercs will start spawning in, so be mindful of their gunfire as you seal with any zombie threats still left over. The building where the Comms Tower is located also houses the Mimic, so do be careful about going inside the building and aggroing it up to the tower roof with you. Defend the Tower while it locates the whereabouts of Jansen, and watch for firefights and incoming zombies.

From there, you need to head further down the map. Jansen is typically in a large building in a locked-away room by the edge of the dock area. Once you reach it, defend her as she deletes necessary files. Once the bar reaches 100%, she will leave the building with a laptop, and begin to aid you as you run to a helipad. Defend her and kill any zombies attacking you on your way out. When you reach the helipad, board the chopper, and you will be done with the mission. With that done, you get a cutscene, and with it, you complete Dr. Jansen’s Coordinates mission and interrogate her successfully in the cutscene.
