Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode is out, and with it, players can get their hands on the new zombie experience on a Warzone. Unlike other Zombie experiences, the game is a DMZ / Warzone type game mode, requiring a different level of cooperation and new challenges to face. So, the game is strongly coop advised. And that leads us to the MW3 Zombies Squad Size.
MW3 Zombies Squad Size Capacity and Lobby Sizes¶
No matter what you do, MW2 Zombies Squad Size is set to 3 players. Whether you party up in a lobby with players you know or queue, you will always need three players in a squad. You can always enable private lobbies if you wish to farm some Challenges and play the game your way.
In addition, players can always party up and follow other squads. The reason for this is that there will always be 24 players in a Zombies session. It means there will be 8 squads spread around the map. If you happen to bump into them, you can turn your squad of three into a party of 6. You’ll somewhat be competing for loot, but there won’t be any hostility between the squads. This can help with some of the missions, such as taking on Mercenary Convoys or going into Strongholds.
It is also worth noting that it is certainly advisable for players to get pre-made groups of three. The reason is that it is easy to wander off and die, and many players will have different challenge types, camo grinds, and other tasks and ambitions you have. The better squad communication you have, the better your chances of survival. If you’re interested, you can read more tips and tricks on MW3 Zombies here.
