This is a rather unremarkable Weapon Ability that you’ll pay little mind to. Cloud will deliver a strong attack followed up by switching between Punisher or Operator modes. Its usage is rather situational but it is effective at building Pressure against Human enemies and is the fastest way for Cloud to switch between his two modes.
The Nail Bat is a rather odd weapon and one that shouldn’t get much use from you. Initial thoughts on the weapon is that it features a lot of Critical related skills which in theory sounds like you could craft a useful Crit Build for Cloud out of it. Unfortunately, it never gets any increases to it’s base stats which means when you do perform a Critical Hit, the weapon is still outclassed by the other weapons. Another unique property of the Nail Bat is it’s Strong Attack in Punisher Mode, it changes it to a slow, but powerful home run animation.
If you do decide to stick with this weapon, focus on purchasing any Critical related skills and be sure to pick up Reprieve as soon as you unlock Weapon Level 6.
