Strategy¶
Espada is on the easier side of Creations in the Monster Arena, although don’t let that put you into a false sense of security. Espada will counter attacks with Hades Claw, which can not only cause poison, but also inflict Death. It can also use Hades Claw as a normal attack. Once it uses that attack a total of four times, it will then use Blade Shower on a single character. That’s the extent of Espada’s offense, so it’s not too bad, especially considering both attacks only hit a single character. Note that it has Auto-Regen, which you can do nothing about, so as long as you’re constantly damaging it for more than 28,000 HP each action, then you should be fine (28,000 is the most it can regen).
If you can manage to get Deathproof on your characters’ armors, then Hades Claw will only poison them. If not, then something like Auto-Phoenix will be more than enough to deal with it. This allows you to easily avoid having to manually revive characters and waste turns. While it has some resistance to Slow, it is susceptible to it, plus it has no resistances to any of the Breaks. Armor Break is the most useful, since you will be able to deal full damage to Espada.
