Jecht Spheres are special recordings that showcase a little glimpse into the journey that Yuna’s father, Braska, had during his pilgrimage. You will not gain the ability to collect these until you have defeated Spherimorph in Macalania Woods. It is at that point that you can make a long trip back to Besaid and collect a majority of the Jecht Spheres along the way. If you don’t, then Besaid Village will be blocked off by a powerful optional boss. For collecting the Jecht Spheres, you will be able to unlock new Overdrives for Auron.
Besaid Village¶
Located to the right of the temple’s entrance, on the dirt section. Note that if you don’t get this after Spherimorph, you won’t be able to get back to Besaid Village until you have control of the airship towards the end of the main story. At this point, the village will be guarded by a powerful optional boss, Dark Valefor.

S.S. Liki¶
The SS Liki is the boat that connects Besaid and Kilika. On this boat, you will find a Jecht Sphere inside the captain’s room.
Luca¶
Go to the main hub of the Blitzball stadium and enter the hallway of the locker rooms on the right side. The Sphere will be at the end of that hallway.
Mi’ihen Highroad¶
In the northern part of the Mi’ihen Highroad, locate the entrance to the Oldroad section. Take this path and at the very end, you will find the Sphere next to the chest that contains the Mars Crest.

Mushroom Rock Road¶
Take the journey all the way back to where the large elevator was located, which took you to the Operation Mi’ihen area. South of that large elevator will be the sphere.
Moonflow¶
This sphere is located in the South Wharf area. Go to the screen with the Save Sphere and you will find it on the ground, in plain sight.
Thunder Plains¶
Run through the southern half of the Thunder Plains and you will find the sphere on the ground, not too far from a lightning rod tower. It’s a little north of the alcove with the Qactuar stone.

Macalania Woods¶
At the southern entrance, where the path splits between heading deeper into the woods or towards the Calm Lands, the sphere will be on the ground on the right side.
Mount Gagazet¶
The final sphere will be located down a thin trail not far after the first grave marker.
