Strategy¶
The Juggernaut will open up the battle by charging on its first turn, then release the Salvo on its next one, hitting the entire party for fire damage. This can be blocked with NulBlaze, and given the ample warning for it, you should never be hit by Salvo at all. Once Juggernaut uses this, it will then switch to using either a physical attack, or Crush Spike. The latter is an attack that will perform Instant Death on the character, so having Deathproof on a character will help make them immune to it. Upon using Crush Spike four times, it will go back to charging, then Salvo again.
While you have a good idea of when the Salvo comes, whether or not Juggernaut uses Crush Spike is completely random. Also, even if protected from the Instant Death, Crush Spike still does quite a bit of damage, and is about twice as strong as its normal attack. Juggernaut has pretty high Strength and while it highly resists all of the Breaks, it is still susceptible to them. That means you would need to use Auron’s Banishing Blade on it, if you wanted to inflict Power Break. If you wanted to just do Armor Break (it has the armored status, so you do), then a Frag Grenade will also work. If you can manage the physical attacks, then Juggernaut shouldn’t be too difficult of a boss.
