Bravely Second: End Layer

Pilgrim's Grove (Part 2)

By
Vincent Lau

West

This time, the bridge leading east has been severed, preventing access to the Southwest part of the grove. Instead, follow the path north to enter the “scenic route” that Yew’s group ignored last time.

Northwest

The path here is fairly simple, but take your time and don’t rush. Hopefully you stocked up on Potions from Gathelatio to patch up Yew’s HP after he takes a few beatings.

From the start, follow the path north and around. When the path branches, go south first to pick up a Wakeup Bell , then continue east onto the higher path. At the next junction, head west for a chest containing 200 pg , then backtrack and head south-east.

At the final junction, go north-east to find a shiny Antidote on the floor, then exit the area via the south-east exit.

Northeast

The trail here is more twisted, but still simple to navigate. Begin by heading east; before long, you’ll find two paths going north under the overpass. Enter the path to the right first to find a chest containing 180 pg , then take the other path.

As the path begins to curve east, a junction will appear. If it’s treasure you seek, follow the path north to return to the Northwest section of the grove, where a chest with an Oaken Pole awaits. Except for fighting Battlehoppers, the Oaken Pole is a better weapon to equip.

Back at the junction, continue east and follow the path south, where you’ll stumble upon another junction. Head west from here to go on the overpass where a shiny Teleport Stone lies on the floor. Then double back and make your way east-ward.

At the final junction, head north and around to higher ground where you’ll find a chest with a Phoenix Down . Then take the path south to return to the Southeast part of the grove.

Southeast

This area should look familiar–it’s where Yew and the others set up camp. Near the entrance, the Adventurer will be waiting. Having come all this way, it would be a good idea to rest up and save your game. Once you approach the orange exclamation mark further south, it’ll be nigh time for a bruisin’.
