Bravely Again¶
Oh no, don’t even do this to our fragile hearts. Following the dramatic end of Chapter 5, our heroes next awaken at Karl’s inn in Caldisla–a sight anyone who played Bravely Default up to its True Ending will be all too familiar with… shudder .
Fortunately, though, it seems our heroes’ mission to eradicate Diamante was a success. In addition, the king of Caldisla requests an audience with his old friends. That said, it’s been ages since you last visited Caldisla (if you played the previous game), so a bit of sight-seeing should be OK.
Once you’re back on your feet, inspect the flower vase on the right-hand side above the beds for a delicious Vanille . Next, make your way to the west side of the inn, then search around the north-west corner for some Balsam . Afterwards, exit the inn via the doorway to the far south.
Land of Endings¶
When you set foot in town, quickly pay a visit to the east side of town, up the nearby steps to the right of the inn. At the viewing platform, search carefully to discover a cool Arctic Wind . Next, hurry along to the west side of town, where the cemetary is.
Inspect the area behind the graves for a Phoenix Down . If you want, check the right-most grave in the front row for some additional backstory. Next, follow the streets in a northerly direction to reach the castle entrance. While you’re here, do pay a visit to the shops.
The equipment here is some of the best you can buy, barring the super-pricey ones from Chompshire. Of note, we strongly recommend buying one Safety Ring for each party member, in addition to the one you pilfered, er, retrieved from the Geneolgia Crypts.
Before entering the castle, check the area to the right of the entrance for a Spider’s Web . Inside the palace, search the back of the stone ornament to the left of the steps to the throne for an almighty Pantheon’s Wrath . Next, approach the statue above the eastward doorway for an X-Potion .
Finally, let the good king of Caldisla know how you’ve been faring. Amidst the jolly reunion, the junior knight captain Egil brings dire news: apparently a monstrosity has been sighted at Lontano Villa. Sounds like a job for Caldisla’s legendary heroes!
Leave the palace on your way to the villa and the Rubadub will come soaring in. Sigh, just like old times. As you exit Caldisla, you’ll be automatically taken aboard the Rubadub and from there you can continue your journey in style.
