Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Leaving the City

By
Vincent Lau

This is a guide for Chapter 5 of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, explaining how to leave the City and make your way to Erythia Sea.

Standard Quest: Castle Access

(1 of 2) You need a way to travel to the castle.

After your tour of the City and discussing with Monica inside the War Room, you’ll have your next mission: to infiltrate the Li Garte Prison Camp within Agnus Castle. However, before you can do that, you need a way to traverse Erythia Sea, where Agnus Castle is located. Thus this quest.

Step 1. Speak to Samon at Sentridge Harbor

First, return to Fuller Elevator Landing at the Great Sword’s Base. We suggest fast-traveling there. Upon arrival, you should notice the nearby locked door to the north is now open; go on through. Beyond, you’ll be at Sentridge Harbor. Head for the north end of the harbor to meet up with Samon.

Step 2. Speak to Timna in the City

(1 of 2) Timna can be found near the south-east corner of the City.

Next, head for the south-east corner of the City, directly south from the Remembrance Stones. Head up the stairs to find Timna, your next contact. Also, listen in to the Fourtune Clover gossip before the stairs (if you didn’t do so already).

Step 3. Speak to Miyori at the Material Storage Warehouse

Your next objective is the Material Storage Warehouse at the south-west corner of the Great Sword’s Hilt, on the upper level. If you visited earlier, you can fast-travel there. Otherwise, fast-travel to Dolgan Cliff, then head south before the Airway Corridor, climb up all the ladders, then travel anti-clockwise. There, you’ll meet Miyori.

(1 of 2) If you visited already, you can fast-travel to the Material Storage Warehouse.

If you visited already, you can fast-travel to the Material Storage Warehouse. (left), Some feathery foes will try to raid the supplies. Not on our watch! (right)

When you’re waiting outside, we suggest staying put. Very soon, a group of foes will arrive: five Level 42 Planaa Ansel. Successfully clip their wings and you’ll receive the promised goods: 300 (count them) Ship Ether Cylinders.

Step 4. Report back to Samon at Sentridge Harbor

Now get yourself to Sentridge Harbor Control, which is the room along the west side of the harbor. Inside, chat to Samon to deliver the goods. This will end the quest, giving you access to the sea-faring vessel, the Boundary. You’ll also receive another Standard Quest: The Castle Beckons.
